About
Biography
Saneeshkumar Joseph was born in 1978 into a migrant farming family in Vellanikode, a picturesque hilly village. As the third of three sons to the late Joseph and Mary of Thurvel, he grew up with strong values of community service and dedication. His journey into public service began at St. Thomas College, where he actively participated in the Kerala Students' Union (KSU), eventually leading district activities in the 1990s.

Political Journey
Starting as a BSc Mathematics student, Saneeshkumar represented KSU as a University Union Councillor and later contested as a chairman candidate in student union elections. His political career took off as he served as General Secretary in the KSU State Committee, working closely with PC Vishnu Nath. He rose through the ranks to become the Thrissur Parliament President of the Youth Congress, and in 2010, he was elected to the District Panchayat with a record majority.
Since 2016, Saneeshkumar has served as the DCC General Secretary and KPCC Secretary. He played a key role in the 2016 assembly elections and the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as part of the KPCC campaign committee. In 2021, he was elected as the MLA for Chalakudy, continuing his mission to serve the people.

Personal Life
Saneeshkumar is married to Jincy Thomas and they have two daughters, Serra Marie and Nora. His family remains his pillar of support, inspiring his continued dedication to public service.
